Brave Beauty Fashion Show

April 19, 2018, was Progress More Often's 1st Fashion Show. Featured was the original PMO gear, in which all proceeds are donated, and then the Empowerment Line and new Power Line were all looks seen in this 2+-hour production. Titled the Brave Beauty Fashion Show, was in part conducted by public figure Steph Rosa, who invited our brand owner, Tevin to model and incorporate PMO into this performance. Tev and Steph collaborated, promoted, and planned weeks for this show. There were models provided to the brand to sport this look, and each piece was a handcrafted exclusive from our brand owner. Tev decided to distress the clothing that was put in the show, and as a result holes, and more precise details were seen, that were products of razor-like tools.

Approximately, twelve to fifteen models were fitted and trained to walk to this runway. The entire show was put together by the Aztec fashion club located at Cooper Canyon High School in Glendale, Arizona for children who are victims of human trafficking in the Philippines. Brave Beauty was a professional event, with structured designers, beauty, and connections. $6,000 of profits made from this fashion show was sent to this country, so, to say the least, this was an amazing opportunity. All efforts were possible through the brands and talented people who made this show what it was. Appearances were made by Miss Teen Arizona Latina 2018, members of the Aztec fashion club, and fifteen+ fashion brands. Some of the brands included, Steph Rosa’s Headband Line, Rockin Street Wear, Mexican way, Navajo Mermaid Arizona, Tokyo not Japan, and beautiful Quinceanera gowns.

Public figures such as Nadia Monique, Steph Rosa, Shelby Mattson, Tevin Grant name a few of the ones who fiercely walked in our lifestyle brand down the runway. The Brave Beauty Fashion Show was made up of special guest performances by signed rappers, a professional contemporary dancer, MC’s, etc. PMO’s brand journalist and head of PR Alexandra Foster was behind the scenes assisting, and admiring the dedication, and effort that was put into the show along with Whitney Grant, Tev’s sister, and videographer for the brand, Derek Perez. This experience set the stage for future PMO gear shows, and the team is excited for what is next to come.

If you did not get a chance to attend this show, we will update you with future runway appearances down the line. Not only did our fashion get to be sponsored in a show, but it also corresponds to the lifestyle that this brand promotes of community. The Current News articles, PMO profits, Provides Projects, and more all cater to this vision. I can’t wait to share what is next!
