After graduating from Prior Lake High School, Tevin left Minnesota to attend Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Upon realization of the huge shift in his life, venturing out to roads untraveled, alone, and unaware of the obstacles to come, Tevin saw the move as an opportunity to recreate himself. He let go of past standards, assumed constraints, and expectations that were held by those who “knew” him, and started fresh. According to Tevin, “Simply put, the first year was a roller coaster.” It wasn’t long before he learned in order to succeed he was going to have to learn quickly to overcome those obstacles. By the end of sophomore year in college, Tevin founded Progress More Often, a foundation focused on an empowerment lifestyle brand that inspires individuals to live a more positive, and progressive lifestyle.
